Cannes Film Festival 2015: Day 3

This third day at the 2015 Cannes film festival proved to be pretty disappointing. Starring John C. Reilly, Yorgos Lanthimos’s Lobster was a weird, icy work taking place in a totalitarian society. While Woody Allen’s wannabe existential Irrational Man also failed to impress, the biggest let down came from Gus Van Sant, his over-thought ghost story The Sea of Trees even getting booed at the end of the screening.
