Despues De Lucia DVD

after-lucia-posterThe second feature from Mexican director Michel Franco is now available on DVD and streaming.

This movie which was used as part of anti-bullying campaigns in Mexico centers on a teenage girl who gets relentlessly bullied by rich kids from her new school.

This is a pretty bare edition, with just English and French subtitles with a 5.1 surround track.

Own it, Watch it or Skip it?

After Lucia is not only a pretty painful movie to watch because of all the cruelty it showcases but I also had issues with the script when it came to characterization. For those of you who are into Mexican cinema, I would suggest streaming it but others can pass.
