What We Do in the Shadows Blu Ray

What We Do in the Shadows Blu-Ray cover

This week is very poor when it comes to Blu-Ray releases. Not only there are only a handful of releases but only a couple are worth noticing.

Stephen Frear’s My Beautiful Laundrette, one of my 80’s favorites, is out on Blu-Ray, courtesy of Criterion. Set in London, UK and starring a young Daniel Day-Lewis, the film follows the interracial love story between a young Pakistani guy and a skinhead.

This Week’s Pick

This week, our pick goes to What We Do in The Shadows, a vampire comedy directed by and starring Flight of the Conchords’ Jemaine Clement. This movie should not only appeal to fans of New Zealand humor but also to anybody enjoying Wes Anderson’s universe – read our full What We Do in The Shadows review here …
