New Blu Ray Releases This Week: September 15th 2015

Reality Blu Ray release

Reality Blu Ray

There is not much happening on the Blu-Ray front this week, except for fans of silly car chases, which will run to go get their copy of the guilty pleasure Furious 7. On a more serious note, the Criterion Collection is releasing Krzysztof Kieslowski’s Blind Chance, a movie that explores three alternative narrative routes. There’s also yet another edition of the original Mad Max (the one with Mel Gibson), which seems to just want to cash in on the success of Fury Road.

WEEKLY BLU-RAY PICK

Our pick goes to the weird French comedy Reality ( rather than rambling about it here, I will recommend to read our full Reality review here or to watch the trailer), which was directed by Quentin Dupieux. the French filmmaker known for Rubber and Wrong. Please note that Mr. Dupieux whom I met here in L.A. also has a successful electronic music career as Mr. Oizo.
