There are a lots of movies to catch today at AFI Fest so here’s our top 5:

MacBeth: This new adaptation of Shakespeare’s classic looks stunning and stars Michael Fassbender (Frank) and Marion Cotillard (Two Days, One Night).

The Lobster: a weird and original sci-fi tale starring Colin Farell – read our review of The LobsterEgyptian Theatre, 6:00 p.m.

Embrace of the Serpent: a black and white epic set in the Amazon. Chinese 5, 6:30 p.m.

The Clan: An Argentinian movie about a mafia family which is also Argentina’s submission to the Academy Awards. Egyptian Theatre, 9:00 p.m.

Evolution: A fantastic tale set on an island only inhabited by women and boys. Chinese 4, 9:45 p.m.
